The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) selected Iknow to assist with the implementation of an enterprise content management (ECM) solution. GCRTA is looking for a solution that will give it the ability to (1) organize, manage, and maintain GCRTA data, especially unstructured data; (2) improve our ability to comply with Ohio Public Records and Retention laws; (3) reduce time and effort to fill public records, e-discovery, and internal requests, and (4) give the organization faster decision making ability, improve work productivity, reduce paper use, help prevent data leakage, while also improving information technology security.

Iknow will assess the GCRTA’s document and content management business needs, evaluate their current systems, identify suitable software products, and recommend the optimal ECM solution.

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA or the Authority) is a political subdivision of the state of Ohio and the largest provider of public transportation within the state. GCRTA is an employer and a public entity subject to Ohio’s public records law, with 2,200 employees, most of whom are bargaining-unit bus and rail operators. GCRTA’s main office is located in downtown Cleveland, and GCRTA has satellite operations in and around Cuyahoga County, including three bus districts, one rail district, and a central bus maintenance facility. GCRTA is organized into 7 divisions that include 34 departments and has its own police force and in-house law firm.
