Ms. Trejo’s background is in the publishing, advertising, and printing industries. She has worked in all aspects of the production process, including typesetting, design, copyediting, proofreading, and project management.
Ms. Trejo was a member of the start-up staff and worked on a special three-year encyclopedia project (Arete Publishing in Princeton, New Jersey). As Assistant Production Manager, Ms. Trejo created the production and traffic management systems for manuscript transmittal through bound book and acted as liaison to in-house staff and outside vendors.
While Manager of the Sales Customer Service Department for Webcraft Technologies, a direct mail printing company, Ms. Trejo was chosen to join a team that planned and executed the start-up of an additional manufacturing facility. Ms. Trejo was responsible for creating the systems for the Production and Quality Assurance departments and hiring and training staff.
In 1987, Ms. Trejo founded Trejo Production to provide project management and graphic arts and editorial services to colleges and universities, nonprofit institutions, healthcare companies, publishing companies, and advertising agencies.
Ms. Trejo’s clients include Artisa LLC, the Berkeley Institute, Cengage Learning, the Collegium Institute, Columbia University, Just Us Books, jwEinstein Strategic Messaging, Inc., McGraw-Hill Professional Group, Paradigm Education Solutions, the Witherspoon Institute, WordPlay LLC, and the Zephyr Institute.
